At RunWalk Tulsa, our leadership team is the heart of everything we do. These passionate leaders guide our walkers and runners with encouragement, experience, and a commitment to fun, safe training. Whether you’re new to fitness or chasing your next PR, our team is here to help you thrive—at your pace.


Program Director & Coach Maurine Dobson

Maurine Dobson

Maurine has run and walked over 100 races, including 13 marathons, and has been coaching since 2015. After discovering the Galloway Method, she fell in love with its simplicity and effectiveness. She started RunWalk Tulsa (formerly Tulsa Galloway) on September 1, 2018. Maurine now leads the group with warmth and energy, helping others train smart, stay injury-free, and enjoy running or walking at any pace.

Assistant Program Director & Coach Dustie Jobe

Dustie Jobe

Dustie has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since November 2018, bringing years of experience as a runner and walker. After discovering the Galloway Method in her late thirties, she has completed countless half-marathons, four full marathons, and an ultra-marathon. Known for her positive energy and encouraging style, Dustie is a trusted mentor for athletes of all levels. Whether giving race-day pep talks or training advice, she helps others build confidence, make progress, and enjoy every step.

Coach Noel Ellsbury

Noel has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since March 2023, bringing speed, strength, and experience to the team. A former Marine and seasoned runner, he’s our fastest run/walker and proof the Galloway Method works at any pace. With discipline and humor, Noel is both a fierce athlete and an approachable coach. He leads by example, showing consistency, smart training, and a positive mindset help you go farther—and faster—than imagined.

Coach Becky Bennett

Becky has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since January 2019, bringing experience, passion, and a love for running. A lifelong runner and walker, she transformed her races from “death marching” to joyful marathon finishes using the Run-Walk-Run method. Running pain-free, getting stronger, and building lasting friendships, Becky’s enthusiasm is contagious. She inspires others to chase their goals with confidence—and a smile.

Coach Kristi Henson

Kristi has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since January 2023, bringing experience and boundless energy to the team. Outgoing, fun, and always smiling, she makes every run feel like a celebration. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she loves helping others build confidence and community through running and walking. Whether training for a race or running for fun, she ensures everyone feels welcome every step of the way.

Coach Gretchen Armor

Gretchen Armor

Gretchen has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since 2019 and is the spark that keeps the group smiling. With her bubbly personality and boundless energy, she brings joy to every run. She loves how the Galloway Method makes running fun and accessible, and she’s passionate about sharing that excitement. Whether you’re new to running or chasing a big goal, her laughter and encouragement keep you moving forward with confidence—and a smile.

Coach Paula Lee

Paula Lee

Paula has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since May 2019, bringing extensive experience as a dedicated runner and walker. She is on a journey to complete a marathon in all 50 states, with fewer than four remaining. Paula’s quiet strength and determination motivate everyone around her.

In 2023, she completed a 100-mile ultra just two days after finishing a marathon. Paula also competes in the National Senior Games in the 5K and 10K, and is excited to welcome the Games to Tulsa in 2027.

Coach Diana Hanson

Diana Hanson

Diana has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since September 1, 2018, bringing experience and a competitive spirit from softball. She discovered a love for running as a fun challenge and started training with the Galloway Method in January 2018. Within a year, she completed eight half-marathons and three full marathons, cutting 15 minutes off her personal best. Diana leads by example, showing that consistency, heart, and dedication make anything possible.

Coach Mary Miller

Mary Miller

Mary has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since September 1, 2018, bringing experience as both a runner and walker. Now coaching one of our walking groups, she leads with encouragement, consistency, and belief in movement at any pace. Mary’s calm presence and dedication make her a trusted guide for walkers of all levels. Whether taking your first steps or training for a longer goal, she supports you every step of the way.

Runner Support: Dwight Dobson

Dwight has been part of RunWalk Tulsa since September 1, 2018, and is the heart of our runner support team. His legendary “aid station buffet” offers more than snacks and hydration—it brings energy, comfort, and encouragement to everyone. From first aid to finish-line motivation, Dwight makes sure every runner and walker feels supported, safe, and seen. His presence is a big part of what makes our Saturday long runs so special.
